Sanctuary of the Oracle

A quiet omen, once a day

Sanctuary of the Oracle天 啓 の 防 壁

A once-a-day divination ritual, born in Japan. Once each day, a guardian goddess reads the omens gathering around you — quietly, and before they arrive — so that you can meet the day a little more prepared.

The oracle itself is written in Japanese — a note on that further down the page.

The Shape of the Oracle

What watches over you here

In most divination, you learn what has already happened, or what to hope for. Sanctuary of the Oracle was built around a quieter idea — a guardian goddess who watches for what is only just beginning to gather, and offers you a way to meet it before it arrives. That is the meaning of "天啓の防壁" — a wall of foreknowledge, raised each day around whoever asks for it.

01

A goddess who watches first

Each reading is framed as a small act of guardianship rather than a prediction — a gentle warning, a word of guidance, and a reason to walk a little more carefully today, all offered before anything has happened.

02

Seven tiers of fortune

Every reading falls into one of seven tiers, from quiet, ordinary cautions to the rarest and most radiant of blessings. The rarer tiers are built to feel genuinely rare — most days sit somewhere gentler, and that is by design.

03

Once, and only once, a day

The oracle can be asked only a single time per day. There is no re-rolling for a better answer. A system that quietly avoids repeating your recent readings keeps each day's word from feeling like the one before it.

A note for the cautious

Everything you type stays with you

Your name, birth date, and blood type are used only to shape the day's reading, inside your own browser. None of it is ever sent to a server, stored, or seen by anyone — including us. The oracle is written on your device, for your device, and nowhere else.

A Peek Inside

What a reading looks like

Each day's reading opens with a tier and a short passage of guidance, followed by a piece of protective advice, a small set of lucky things to carry through the day, and a few gentle notes on why they were chosen.

The oracle itself is delivered in Japanese. We considered machine-translating it, and decided against it for now — the wording is written carefully, in a fairly literary register, and an automated translation would flatten exactly the quality we care most about.

Most modern web browsers include a built-in page translator that works in a couple of taps, and it reads perfectly well that way. You're also welcome to leave it untranslated and simply let the original cadence wash over you once a day — either way, translated or not, is a fine way to receive it.
